Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Namaz Vakti account and associated data at any time. Below you'll find three ways to submit a deletion request and a full list of what is deleted and what (if anything) is retained.
From within the app (fastest)
- Open the Namaz Vakti app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Profile
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
The request is processed immediately. Server-side data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Via this web form
If you cannot access the app, submit a request here. We verify and process it within 30 days.
By email
Send an email from the address registered in your account:

What is deleted
When your deletion request is processed, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Account: phone number, verification records
- Profile: name, age group, language and theme preferences
- Family links: parent–child account relationships (child accounts are also deleted)
- Any server-synced worship data (if you enabled cloud sync)
- Notification tokens and preferences
- Feedback and support message history
Local data on your device (worship tracking, tasbih counter, offline preferences stored in MMKV) is erased when you uninstall the app.
What is retained (and why)
To meet legal, security and anti-abuse obligations, the following minimal data may be retained after account deletion:
- Deletion audit log — Hashed identifier + timestamp of deletion, kept for 12 months. Cannot be linked back to a person.
- Anti-abuse signals — If your account was banned for abuse, the phone hash may be retained for 24 months to prevent repeated account creation.
- Legal obligations — Data explicitly required to be retained by Turkish or EU law (currently: none for this app).
